The Economics Working Group met on December 3, 1999 at the ACOE’s building. Attending were Morgan Rees, David Kyler, and Judy Jennings.

The primary topic of discussion was the process by which the EWG’s work will be a factor in the update of the harbor deepening proposal’s economic analysis. The agreement of those present was that there will be an economic update of the proposal based on the evolving list of questions and concerns with consensus of the EWG. There will be a direct flow of information from the EWG to the SEG.

Those present agreed that in future meetings of the EWG, discussions need to further define the SEG "Matrix of Issues" to ensure that all significant relationships between economic issues and the work of other SEG committees are identified and addressed.
