  5. Decisions Made:
    1. Development of the "Task Statement" by GPA is underway, and is anticipated to be available for review within the next few weeks. This document will merge the "Proposed Beach Erosion Study For The Savannah Harbor Expansion Project" with other materials and considerations, including COE Remarks, Erik Olsen Remarks, Sand Budget Clarity, Cumulative Effects, Peer Participation and Peer Review, and GPA Decision Considerations as per the "Guidelines for Evaluating SEG Recommendations…" document distributed at the July SEG meeting.
    2. The materials presented at the July 13th SEG meeting, following the BEC Progress Report, had the effect of indicating some error may have occurred pertaining to the process of approving, or content of, the "Proposed Beach Erosion Study For The Savannah Harbor Expansion Project", but upon analysis and review, it was concluded there was no error. This conclusion and related discussion is to be related to Morgan Rees who is studying this issue for the SEG.

    1. A draft matrix was distributed illustrating SEG Issues versus all SEG Committee Activities. An updated draft of the matrix is planned for distribution at the August 3rd SEG meeting, with an amendment indicating GPA Activities underway on the SEG Issues.
    2. Copies of Stuart Stevens’s letter to Col. Schmidt pertaining to dredging economics were distributed.
